The suction bucket base comprises a bucket bodyjet-flow system, wherein the jet-flow system comprises the plurality of reinforcing tubes which are axially arranged at the periphery of the bucket body; water conveying valves are arranged on the tops of the reinforcing tubes for communicating with an external high-pressure water conveying system; and water outlets are formed in the bottoms of the reinforcing tubes. The mounting method comprisesthe following steps: step 1, sinking the suction bucket base under action of dead load; step 2, conveying water into the reinforcing tubes; step 3, correcting errors of the suction bucket base; step 4, sinking under high pressure; step 5, sinking to a specified depth; and step 6, correcting the errors again. The mounting method can be used for directly scattering a bottom soil body, is suitable for the thin-wall steel suction bucket base, increases bucket-end resistance with relatively small extent, and improves strength and buckling resistance of the bucket body through the reinforcing tubes.
