Problems solved by technology

[0003] As an important analysis method for crystal materials, X-ray diffraction is widely used in the analysis and testing of various metal materials and non-metallic crystal materials, but there are few studies on the use of X-ray diffraction in the analysis of the humidity and heat aging degree of aramid fiber

Embodiment 1

[0025] This embodiment provides a method for evaluating the humidity and heat aging of aramid fibers, and the specific steps are as follows:

[0026] 1) Preparation of aramid fiber samples

[0027] The F-12 fiber was selected as the raw material, and cut into multiple sections of 25 cm fiber samples. After the surface was repeatedly wiped with absolute alcohol for 3 times, it was placed in an oven and dried at 55°C for 36 hours, and then divided into a control group and an aging group.

[0028] 2) Damp heat aging test conditions of the aging group

[0029] The specific condition of damp heat aging is 70°C. The samples in the aging group are completely immersed in deionized water. After starting the test, samples are taken at gradually increasing time intervals to ensure that the aging degree of the samples is significantly different at each sampling point. The total test time is 2500 hours.

[0030] 3) XRD test

[0031] The samples of the control group and the samples aged ...

Embodiment 2

[0035] This embodiment provides a method for measuring and calculating the internal water absorption rate of aramid fiber, and the specific steps are as follows:

[0036] 1) Preparation of aramid fiber samples

[0037] Kevlar-49 fiber was selected as the raw material, cut into multiple sections of 20 cm fiber samples, the surface was repeatedly wiped with anhydrous alcohol for 3 times, and dried in an oven at 60°C for 24 hours, and then divided into control group and aging group.

[0038] 2) Damp heat aging test conditions of the aging group

[0039] The specific condition of damp heat aging is 70°C. The samples in the aging group are completely immersed in deionized water. After starting the test, samples are taken at gradually increasing time intervals to ensure that the aging degree of the samples is significantly different at each sampling point. The total test time is 2500 hours.

[0040] 3) XRD test

[0041] The XRD test was carried out on the samples of the control g...

Abstract

The invention discloses a hygrothermal aging evaluation method of an aramid fiber. The method comprises the following steps of (1), carrying out cutting sample preparation on aramid fiber composite samples, cleaning surfaces by using absolute alcohol, then baking until constant weights in a baking box, and dividing the aramid fiber samples into a control group and a to-be-aged group; (2), carryingout a hygrothermal aging test on the aramid fiber samples of the to-be-aged group; (3), carrying out XRD (X-Ray Diffraction) experiments respectively on the aramid fiber samples which are subjected to the hygrothermal aging test and the aramid fiber composite material samples which are not subjected to aging; (4), making a pattern, which is used for expressing the hygrothermal aging degree of thearamid fiber, by using hygrothermal aging times as horizontal ordinates and the sizes of crystalline regions of the aramid fiber which are calculated by means of a Scherrer formula in the XRD tests. The method is simple and convenient to operate, and has no damage to the samples; the sizes of the crystalline regions of the fiber are calculated according to a diffraction pattern obtained by analyzing the ramid fiber, subjected to the hygrothermal aging, through the XRD; the aging degree of the aramid fiber can be simply evaluated, and the aging degree is indicated to be gradually deepened if the crystalline regions gradually become small.

Description

technical field [0001] The invention relates to a method for testing fiber properties, in particular to a method for evaluating the humidity and heat aging of aramid fiber. Background technique [0002] Aramid fiber is a common organic high-performance fiber, represented by the Kevlar series produced in the United States and the F series produced in my country. Compared with inorganic fibers, aramid fiber has better toughness and insulation, and has good wave-transmitting performance, which makes aramid fiber composite materials have important applications in the fields of navigation and aviation. However, due to structural problems, aramid fibers are not almost immune to humidity like inorganic fibers, which leads to humidity being an important environmental factor affecting the long-term performance of aramid fibers and their composite materials. In the process of use, humidity is often coupled with temperature, which accelerates the aging of aramid fiber and its composit...
