The gas cogeneration system comprises a generator set, a first-stage intercooler and a plate heat exchanger, wherein the generator set is used for burning gas to generate power, an internal circulation pipeline and an external circulation pipeline are arranged in the generator set, and the internal circulation pipeline and the external circulationpipeline are used for cooling the generator set by using cooling water; the first-stage intercooler is connected with a circulation pipeline of the internal circulation pipeline and is used for exchanging cooling water with the internal circulation pipeline and replacing high-temperature cooling water in the internal circulation pipeline with low-temperature cooling water, and the temperature of the generator set is absorbed by the low-temperature cooling water, so that the generator set is cooled; and the plate heat exchanger is connected with the first-stage intercooler and the external circulation pipeline, the plate heat exchanger is used for absorbing heat of the first-stage intercooler and the external circulation pipeline, and the absorbed heat is transferred to flowing water to beheated by the plate heat exchanger.
