Abstract

The invention discloses a data synchronization method. The method comprises the steps of reading a new submitted log from a log queue by utilizing a node in a node cluster, wherein the new submitted log refers to a log submitted after the node cluster reads the log from the log queue; and according to a data change involved by a data change operation recorded in the new submitted log, applying thedata change to a data storage space, used for storing a snapshot data file, of the node cluster. According to the data synchronization method, during data synchronization, the data change involved bythe new submitted log in the log queue is applied to the data storage space of the node cluster, so that the data consistency is kept; and the separation of the log and the snapshot data file is realized, so that the defect that the storage capacity of the snapshot data file is limited by the storage capacity of a single machine is overcome.
