Abstract

The present invention discloses a device and a method for calibration of a precipitation static discharge current. The problem of the calibration accuracy of a precipitation static discharge current is solved. The device comprises a calibrated precipitation static discharge current simulator, a discharge target, a resistor and a direct current voltmeter. The simulator is configured to generate a precipitation static discharge current and perform precipitation static discharge to the discharge target; the discharge target is connected with the resistor in series and is configured to receive theprecipitation static generated by the simulator and generate a direct current; the resistor is earthed; and the direct current voltmeter is configured to measure the voltage of the resistor. The method comprises the following steps of: regulating a high-voltage generator to generate a predetermined precipitation static discharge current, and recording indication of an ampere meter and indicationof the direct current voltmeter; employing the Ohm's law to obtain a direct current value flowing through the resistor; and performing calibration of the precipitation static discharge current according to the direct current value. The device and the method for calibration of the precipitation static discharge current can perform accurate calibration of the precipitation static discharge current.
