Abstract

The invention discloses a control method for a cooking appliance. The cooking appliance comprises a cooker body, a cover body, a vacuum pump, an exhaust passage and a control device, wherein a gas inlet of the vacuum pump gets communicated with a cooking space and an exhaust port of the vacuum pump gets communicated with external atmosphere; the cooking space can get communicated with the externalatmosphere via the exhaust passage; the control device is used for controlling running of the cooking appliance, wherein the method comprises the following steps: S1, controlling heating of the cooking appliance until temperature in the cooking space reaches a first preset value; S2, closing the exhaust passage, so that the cooking space is sealed; S3, opening the vacuum pump, and closing the vacuum pump after a first preset time period; S4, opening the exhaust passage by a second preset time period; and S5, repeating the steps S2-S4 by at least two cycles. According to the control method provided by the invention, cooked rice is better in taste.
