[0022] 1. Test materials
[0023] The two re-sequenced materials include G29, which belongs to Capsicum annuum, which is a high-generation inbred line material, and comes from the Vegetable Research Institute of Jiangsu Academy of Agricultural Sciences; PBC688, which belongs to Capsicum frutescens, is introduced from the Asian Vegetable Center. The 55 pepper materials used to verify the accuracy of the labeling are all derived from the National Plant Germplasm System (NPGS), which belong to 5 pepper cultivars. See Table 1 for details.
