[0023] The two re-sequenced materials include G29, which belongs to Capsicum annuum, which is a high-generation inbred line material, and comes from the Vegetable Research Institute of Jiangsu Academy of Agricultural Sciences; PBC688, which belongs to Capsicum frutescens, is introduced from the Asian Vegetable Center. The 55 pepper materials used to verify the accuracy of the labeling are all derived from the National Plant Germplasm System (NPGS), which belong to 5 pepper cultivars. See Table 1 for details.

Abstract

The invention discloses an InDel labeling primer pair used for distinguishing five capsicum cultispecies and application thereof. The InDel labeling primer pair is composed of a forward primer which is shown in SEQ ID NO.1 and a reverse primer which is shown in SEQ ID NO.2. Genome DNAs of the five capsicum cultispecies are utilized to conduct PCR amplification. If a 133bp molecular marker spectrumband exists, it is shown that the capsicum belongs to Capsicum annuum; if a 135bp molecular marker spectrum band exists, it is shown that the capsicum belongs to Capsicum frutescens; if a 138bp molecular marker spectrum band exists, it is shown that the capsicum belongs to Capsicum Chinese; if a 141bp molecular marker spectrum band exists, it is shown that the capsicum belongs to Capsicum baccatum; if a 148bp molecular marker spectrum band exists, it is shown that the capsicum belongs to Capsicum Pubescens. The marker can be used for distinguishing the capsicum cultispecies and hybrids thereof, a molecule basis is provided for the division of the capsicum cultispecies, and a more reliable and accurate identification method is provided for identification of distant hybrids.

Description

Technical field [0001] The invention relates to an InDel marker primer pair for distinguishing five pepper cultivars and its application, and belongs to the field of agricultural biotechnology engineering. technical background [0002] Pepper is one of the very important vegetable crops in Solanaceae, which originated in Central and South America. As peppers have both the functions of vegetables and condiments, they have extremely high economic value worldwide. 31 species have been identified in the genus Capsicum, including five cultivars of pepper, namely: annual pepper (Capsicum annuum L.), Chinese pepper (Capsicumchinense Jacq.), shrub-like pepper (Capsicum frutescens L.), and drooping pepper (Capsicum baccatumL.) and pilose pepper (Capsicum pubesens Ruiz&Pavon). There are morphological differences in many traits among the five cultivars, such as the most obvious flower and seed color. [0003] Traditional plant classification is based on the morphological characteristics of...
