Abstract

The invention provides a micro fluidic device and a driving detection method thereof. The micro fluidic device comprises multiple driving detection circuit units, wherein each of the driving detectioncircuit units comprises a driving portion which comprises a driving point and is configured with a driving voltage applied to the driving point for driving a liquid droplet to move in the micro fluidic device, and a detection portion which is configured to detect the position of the liquid droplet in the micro fluidic device and comprises a detection point, the detection point is reset to the first potential when the liquid droplet is driven by the driving portion, the potential of the detection point is changed from the first potential to the second potential based on the driving voltage ofthe driving point during detection, and the second potential is used for being detected to determine the position of the liquid droplet. The micro fluidic device is advantaged in that the driving detection circuit is simplified, so manufacturing difficulty of the micro fluidic device is reduced, and manufacturing cost of the micro fluidic device is further reduced.
