The invention discloses a convenient method and device for changing multimedia resources in a document, and electronic equipment. The method comprises the following steps that: receiving a selection operation for an object which changes the multimedia resources in the document; when the selection operation selects all same multimedia resources in the document, replacing original multimedia resource data with new multimedia resource data; and when the selection operation selects parts of multimedia resources with the same type in the document, replacing the path of parts of selected multimediaresources with the same type with the path index of the new multimedia resource data. By use of the embodiment of the invention, the same type of resources, including sound, background music, videos,pictures and the like can be conveniently changed, the multimedia resources of a specific range or all ranges can be changed through one-time operation, operation is convenient and quick, in addition,revision missing is avoided, and office efficiency is effectively improved.
