The indoor navigation method comprises the following steps: acquiring current indoor position information of the mobile terminal; generating a segmented navigation path with the position corresponding to the indoor position information as a starting point and an input destination position as an ending point, wherein the segmented navigation path is a straight line; and when it is determined that the mobile terminal points to the direction of the segmented navigation path, displaying advance identification information on a navigation interface for instructing a user to advance in the current direction pointed by the mobile terminal. By applying the embodiment of the invention, the problem that indoor navigation is inconvenient to use in the prior art can be solved.
