The method comprises the following steps that: the MServer sends a monitoring data acquisition request to the protocol conversion gateway; after the MServer receives a resource response signal returned by the protocol conversion gateway for the monitoring data acquisition request, the MServer successively receives at least one compressed resource packet returned by the protocol conversion gateway; afterdecompressing the compressed resource packets, the MServer integrates the compressed resource packets into monitoring data, and saves the monitoring data into a database; and the MServer transmits the monitoring data saved in the database to the articulated naturality web monitoring client. Through adoption of the monitoring data acquisition method and device in the embodiment of the invention, the size of a transmitted data packet is increased; more data can be transmitted; the network bandwidth is better utilized; and the processing efficiency is improved.
