Abstract

The invention provides a laser frequency locking method, device and system. The method comprises the following steps of: locking the laser frequency by using an optical cavity longitudinal mode; obtaining the non-Doppler saturation absorption signal of the infrared vibrational-rotational transition of the molecule at the laser frequency; according to the non-Doppler saturation absorption signal, obtaining the error signal, wherein the center of the error signal corresponds to the transition center of the non-Doppler saturation absorption signal; according to the error signal, adjusting the laser frequency so that the center of the laser frequency is equal to the transition center of the Doppler-free saturation absorption signal. A laser frequency is locked by that longitudinal mode of theoptical cavity, In the case of precise locking, the linewidth of the laser can also be narrowed. At the same time, the linewidth of the infrared oscillation transition of the molecule is narrowed, which is generally limited by the widening of the transit time, and the magnitude of the linewidth is in the order of hundred kilohertz. Therefore, the long-term stability of the laser frequency can be maintained by locking the laser frequency at the saturation absorption center of the infrared oscillation transition of the molecule.

Description

technical field [0001] The present invention relates to the technical field of lasers, and more specifically, to a method, device and system for frequency locking of lasers. Background technique [0002] The invention of the laser has brought revolutionary changes to scientific research and industrial production. The laser has the advantages of single frequency, collimation and high brightness. Among them, the single frequency characteristic is an important parameter concerned by many scientific research and industrial application fields. [0003] For a free-running laser, it will inevitably be affected by factors such as external environment temperature, vibration and electromagnetics. The linewidth of the laser is wide, and the center frequency of the laser has a long-term drift, so it involves industrial or scientific research. In the field that requires precision machining and measurement, it is usually necessary to lock the frequency of the laser. [0004] However, the...
