Abstract

A system and method for detecting and evaluating nerve signal of a rat spinal cord comprises a stimulating electrode, a recording electrode, a pulse stimulator and a nerve signal acquisition system, wherein the stimulating electrode is connected with the pulse stimulator, and the recording electrode is connected with the nerve signal acquisition system. The invention utilizes an electronic detection method to perform functional electric stimulation on the primary motor cortex of the brain of a rat, and records the spinal nerve signals and corresponding site coordinates corresponding to the T9-T12 segments of the spine, and detects the conduction pathway of the nerves in the spinal cord of the rat motor cortex that governs the lower extremity movement from the correlation coefficient and the delay time. The results showed that the correlative coefficients of the signals recorded at the effective sites were high and there was a certain delay time in the nerve conduction pathway. The invention can provide practical data for detecting electrode implantation of microelectronic nerve bridging experiment, detect and evaluate the conduction function of rat spinal cord from electronic informatics angle, and prove the feasibility of microelectronic nerve bridging experiment in animal experiment level.

Description

technical field [0001] The invention relates to the technical field of nerve signal detection and evaluation, in particular to a rat spinal cord nerve signal detection and evaluation system and method. Background technique [0002] The spinal cord is a part of the central nervous system of humans and vertebrates. In the spinal canal, the upper end is connected to the medulla oblongata, and paired nerves are sent out from both sides, which are distributed to the limbs, body wall and internal organs. Inside the spinal cord there is an H-shaped (butterfly-shaped) gray matter area, mainly composed of nerve cells; around the gray matter area is a white matter area, mainly composed of myelinated nerve fibers. The spinal cord is the center of many simple reflexes. On both sides of the spinal cord send out many pairs of nerves (called spinal nerves) that distribute to the skin, muscles and internal organs throughout the body. The spinal cord is the pathway between the peripheral n...
