The new wheel rail high speed train system comprises a train body and a track component and further comprises a low evacuated tube which has an airtight structure, whose interior is in a low evacuated state and which is used for accommodating the train body to advance; the track component is arranged in the low evacuated tube; the track component extends in the length direction of the low evacuated tube; the train body comprises a plurality of passenger compartments and a pair of driving compartments, wherein the plurality of passenger compartments are connected with each other in sequence, and the driving compartments are correspondingly arranged at the two end parts; the driving compartments are connected with the adjacent passenger compartments; jet engines are placed in the driving compartments; and during advancing, one driving compartment is used as a driving side and positioned at the tail part of the train part. By using the jet engines, the whole train body is pushed to advance at a high speed; and moreover, the whole train body runs in the low evacuated tube; and therefore, the air resistance is greatly reduced, and the running speed is increased.
