Abstract

The invention aims at providing an expressway agglomerate fog area road condition visualization device based on microwave radar. A radar signal containing information, such as speed, distance and azimuth, of a preceding vehicle on a fog area road is collected by using an LFMCW linear frequency-modulated radar sensor; and the radar signal is processed by using a DSP signal operation processing circuit to extract parameters, such as speed, distance and azimuth, of the preceding vehicle; the parameters are displayed on a fog area road condition display screen of a centre console to help a driverto judge a vehicle running position situation in the fog area; and therefore, the driver adopts a reasonable driving operation measure to drive the vehicle through the fog area safely. Meanwhile, whena vehicle distance is less than a safety vehicle distance, a sound alarm circuit produces a long-voice spaced alarming sound and a sharp alarming sound to warn the driver of that the distance betweenthe vehicle and the preceding vehicle is in a warning area and a dangerous area; and therefore, rear-end collision is prevented.
