Abstract

The invention discloses a dimensionality-reduction circular and non-circular mixed signal DOA estimation method based on a MUSIC algorithm. Based on classical MUSIC, the method capable of conducting DOA estimation on mixed modulating signals with circular and non-circular characteristics is developed. The method can utilize the circular and non-circular characteristics, the DOA estimation performance is effectively improved, and the circle signal and the non-circle signal in the mixed signals can be distinguished. By means of the method, two-dimensional spectrum peak search is reduced into one-dimensional spectrum peak search, and the complexity of the algorithm is greatly reduced. Through a simulation result, the performance of the method is much higher than the performance of the classical MUSIC algorithm, and the complexity is much lower than that of the classical MUSIC algorithm, and along with increasing of the amount of the non-circular signals in the mixed signals, the overall DOA estimation performance of the mixed signals is improved.
