Abstract

The invention discloses a device and method for generating an attosecond pulse by using a multi-color field and a nano-tip action. Laser devices, a reflector, a buncher, an electrostatic generation field, a nano tip and an aluminum foil are arranged. The light paths of polarized laser generated by the laser devices are adjusted by a reflector; the buncher adjusts the two beams of linear polarizedlight to be in a same propagation direction and polarization direction. The nano tip is arranged under two strong short laser pulses and an electrostatic field. Strong linearly polarized light generated by the laser devices acts with the metal nano tip to generate higher harmonics; and then the aluminum foil is used for screening effective frequency components to form a single attosecond pulse. According to the invention, two linearly polarized electrical fields with the parallel polarization directions in a parallel two-color state and one electrostatic field with the proper intensity are employed; and the nano tip is arranged in the fields to obtain higher harmonics including one super-continuous spectrum, so that a pure isolated attosecond pulse is obtained with the pulse width of 120 attoseconds.
