Abstract

The invention discloses a D2D (Device-to-Device) real-time video stream transmission method based on network coding (NC). The method includes the following steps: carrying out network coding operationon video streams, which are sent in real time, by signal source equipment; successfully decoding the video streams from the signal source equipment by an intermediate node, and carrying out video stream converging operation; carrying out network coding again on a video stream after stream converging by the intermediate node, and then sending the same in a form of broadcasting; and receiving a preset number of linearly independent data packets by mobile equipment, and then carrying out coding to obtain a video of stream converging. According to the method, different redundancy degrees are setfor the video frames of different importance degrees, additional transmission protection can be provided for key frames in the video streams, and thus reliability of a video transmission process is improved; and the video streams from different signal sources are compressed into the one video stream through stream converging operation of the intermediate node, transmission bandwidth is reduced, and overall transmission performance is improved. The method has the advantages of high video transmission reliability, low bandwidth occupancy and low transmission time delay.
