Abstract

Disclosed is a technique for preparing a nontoxic and eco-friendly black-based pearl gloss pigment for cosmetics by using a pigment comprising a natural charcoal powder. According to the present invention, a method for preparing a pearl gloss pigment by using natural charcoal comprises the steps of: (a) preparing a pigment comprising a natural charcoal powder by milling natural charcoal; and (b) coating, on flake substrates, the prepared pigment comprising a natural charcoal powder, wherein the milling is carried out at 20-40 Hz for 24-72 hours, and the average particle size of the pigment comprising a natural charcoal powder is 100-300 nm.
