The system involves brake control units, a whole train controller and a brake device, wherein carriages are provided with brake control units, the whole vehicle controller is used for sending a first brake-keeping releasing instruction to the brake control units through a network when the traction force of a whole vehicle is larger than a traction force threshold value, the traction force threshold value is the sum of the downwards sliding force generated when the line, where the train is located,reaches a preset gradient and in an overcrowded-loading situation and a static friction force which need to be overcome when the train is started; and the braking control units are used for controlling the braking device to release brake-keeping according to the first brake-keeping releasing instruction. According to the system for releasing brake-keeping of the train, when brake-keeping of the train is released, the driving safety of the train can be guaranteed, and the phenomenon that the train slides down from a slope and rushes down is avoided.
