Abstract

The invention discloses a re-closing method of a DC circuit breaker in a flexible DC transmission system, which comprises the steps of analyzing fault characteristics of the DC circuit breaker when reclosing in instantaneous and permanent faults in view of faults with different natures in the flexible DC transmission system; and achieving the re-closing of the DC circuit breaker through adopting amode of conducting a transfer branch and switching a control strategy of converter stations at two ends of the faulty line after line fault de-ionization by using switching characteristics of the transfer branch of the DC circuit breaker based on the analyzed fault characteristics. The method can reduce the oscillation of the DC circuit breaker when re-closing in the case of an instantaneous fault and the secondary overcurrent impact thereof when reclosing in the case of a permanent fault, thereby ensuring the safe and stable operation of the system.
