Abstract

The device comprises a box body, a cathode module, iron nets and a mud suction pipe, wherein the box body contains high-concentration wastewater; the cathode module comprises two rolled cathode plates used as cathodes and a waterproof air chamber; the cathode module floats onthe surface of the high-concentration wastewater, and the draft of the cathode module is not less than two-thirds of the height of the cathode module; each of the rolled cathode plates comprises stainless steel meshes, a conductive carbon powder coating and a capacitive carbon powder coating, and the conductive carbon powder coating is applied on the stainless steel mesh facing the air chamber; atleast one iron net is inserted into the high-concentration wastewater outside each of the rolled cathode plates; and the iron nets are electrically connected with an anode power source. According tothe invention, through the arrangement of the air chamber, the cathode module floats on the liquid surface to realize contact with air, so oxygen is provided for a cathode reduction reaction; coagulated matters are removed via coagulation grooves and the mud suction pipe; and thus, the device realizes pretreatment of the high-turbidity wastewater and synchronous electric energy generation.
