Abstract

The invention provides a VM migration method for P-E trade-off of seasonal non-steady concurrency, and relates to the technical field of cloud computing. The method comprises two parts of VM static deployment and VM dynamic migration. Firstly, static deployment of VMs is carried out according to memories and CPU resources provided by a physical server and needed by the VMs, the VMs are deployed tophysical hosts under the condition that the process meets the requirements of customers, meanwhile, the number of the physical hosts is reduced as much as possible, and the purpose of reducing energyconsumption is achieved. And after the VM is statically deployed, VM migration is finished by adopting a VM dynamic migration strategy. The method comprises two parts, in the first part, the averageresponse time of each VM is predicted by using an RBF algorithm, and the VM needing to be migrated is selected according to a set threshold value; in the second part, a target server is selected, thetarget server is selected through the updated resource demand matrix, and VM migration in one stage is completed; the first part and the second part are circularly carried out to finish the whole VM migration process.
