Abstract

The overcurrent ultraviolet sterilization device comprises a three-way tube module, an ultraviolet light module, and a flow meter. The three-way tube module comprises a first through opening, a second through opening and a third through opening which communicate with one another. The ultraviolet light module is mounted at thefirst through opening, and comprises a plurality of ultraviolet light chips and a driving unit for controlling the ultraviolet light chips to be switched on and off. The flow meter is arranged at theplace close to a water inlet, and electrically connected with the driving unit. When the flow meter detects that water flows, a feedback signal is output to the driving unit to enable the driving unit to control the ultraviolet light chips to emit ultraviolet light so as to sterilize the water in a tap water tube. When the flow meter detects that a water flow stops, a feedback signal is output again to the driving unit to control the ultraviolet light chips to stop emitting the ultraviolet light.
