Abstract

An embodiment of the invention provides a time delay estimation correction method and system for improving baseline positioning robustness. The method comprises the following steps: through a direction-finding solution model, obtaining tolerance of direction finding to delay estimation precision and tolerance of the direction-finding solution model to random noise and obtaining a first time delayestimation interval and a second time delay estimation interval correspondingly; obtaining a third time delay estimation interval according to the obtained two time delay estimation intervals; obtaining a direction finding estimated value corresponding to a first measurement dimension according to an angle measurement value corresponding to time delay estimation of a second measurement dimension and array relationship; and obtaining a delay estimated value of a first measurement dimension according to the direction finding estimated value, and correcting a received signal of the first measurement dimension by using the delay estimated value. The correction method improves the robustness of baseline location and direction finding under a low SNR environment without increasing baseline aperture and model complexity.
