Abstract

The system in the present invention is composed of a pair of infrared interruptible sensors, a camera and an upper computer. An output end of the infrared interruptible sensor is connected to a trigger input end of the camera. The camera is connected to the uppercomputer. The sensor is placed in a suitable position and is fixed. A strip coil is conveyed by a conveyer belt to pass through an assigned position, infrared light of the infrared interruptible sensor is interrupted by the strip coil, the sensor sends a trigger signal, and the camera works, shoots a sectional drawing of the strip coil after a delay of a certain time, and transmits the drawing tothe upper computer. A burr detection algorithm in the upper computer is used for detecting whether there is burr on the strip coil. The whole process is completely automated.
