Abstract

The method includes the steps that whether the operating state of the system requires refrigerant leakagedetection or not is initially judged; whether the operating frequency of a compressor is higher than a first set frequency or not is judged; the current outdoor ambient temperature, current outdoor liquid pipe temperature, current indoor return air temperature and current indoor anti-freezing temperature of an air conditioner are acquired to judge whether the air conditioner fails in refrigeration or not; whether refrigerant leakage occurs or not is judged according to the detected current refrigerant concentration outside a drainage hole; the rotating speed of an exhaust fan of the air conditioner is adjusted, and whether the concentration of refrigerant is reduced to be lower than a second preset concentration value or not is judged; a solenoid valve trips, and the severity of refrigerant leakage is determined according to the counted number of tripping times of the solenoid valve; and the air conditioner is stopped to recover the refrigerant.
