The invention discloses novel fabric with a stretching and twisting color changing effect. The novel fabric comprises base cloth, and a color-changing resin layer and an aqueous polycarbonate polyurethane layer are coated on the outer surface of the base cloth. The production process comprises the steps of leveling cloth marks of the base cloth by using a gravure printing aqueous polyurethane adhesive, and drying; carrying out calendering processing on the levelled base cloth; coating the base cloth subjected to the calendering processing with the color-changing resin layer and conducting drying at a low temperature; coating the base cloth coated with the color-changing resin layer with aqueous polycarbonate polyurethane and conducting drying at a high temperature; carrying out rolling onthe base cloth of the two coating layers and conducting standing until the coating layers and the base cloth are completely crosslinked and cured; and carrying out water washing and tension-free drying on a cured finished product. When the fabric is subjected to external force such as stretching or twisting, the stress part of the fabric may generate a color-changing effect, and along with the change of deformation gradient of the fabric, the color is characterized by a gradient from light to deep; and after the external force is eliminated, the fabric may return to the original color.
