Abstract

The embodiment of the invention discloses a retrograde judgment method and device based on image recognition, equipment and a storage medium. The method comprises the following steps: acquiring videodata of an escalator area in real time; detecting a head area in the video data, and performing target tracking on the head area to obtain a head movement direction; determining whether the number ofthe head areas is greater than a preset threshold value or not; if the number of the head regions is greater than a preset threshold value, determining a retrograde state according to a proportional relation between the number of the head regions in different motion directions and the number of the head regions; and if the number of the head areas is smaller than or equal to a preset threshold value, carrying out escalator streamer tracking on the video data to obtain the movement direction of an escalator, and determining the retrograde state according to the movement direction of the escalator and the movement direction of the head. The result of target detection based on the head area is accurate, and accurate retrograde detection and alarm can be realized by selecting different retrograde references according to the number of passengers.
