Abstract

The swirl generator with the submersed nozzle comprises a swirl generator body and a step hole formed in the center of the top end of the swirl generator body, wherein a plurality of blades are arranged on the top of the swirl generator body; the curvature of one end of each blade is consistent to the curvature of the excircle of the swirl generator body; the curvature of the end, which is away from the excircle of the swirl generator body, of each blade is consistent with the curvature of the hole wall of the step hole; and a swirl cavity is formed between every two blades. The swirl generator with the submersed nozzle has the beneficial effects that the swirl generator is simple in structure andreasonable in design, homogeneity of distribution of inner flow fields of the submersed nozzle is improved, thus, stability of flowing of liquid steel in a crystallizer is improved remarkably, and the quality of a steel product is improved favorably.
