The method comprises the following steps of: (1) printing a standard specimen page; (2) printinga contrast specimen page; (3) formulating a color gamut improvement scheme: analyzing color gamut difference and combining with the evaluation of PressSIGN software, and passing through the followingsteps: (3.1) setting a dot shape before printing; (3.2) setting a publication compensation curve before printing; (3.3) correcting output data of Y-version publication compensation in shallow screentone by using Prinergy Harmony software; (3.4) adjusting the hue of ink; (4) implementing a new single powder card color gamut specimen page by using a G7 method printing measure; and (5) using new data for modeling.
