Abstract

The invention discloses a natural gas dewaxing system and a method. The system comprises an inlet separator, at least two dewaxing towers, a water vapor generator and a dust filter, and the dewaxing towers are filled with an adsorbent capable of adsorbing wax but not adsorbing natural gas; removing of liquid and solid impurities in the natural gas is realized when the natural gas passes through aninlet separator; after dewaxing is completed in the dewaxing towers, the dewaxed natural gas is enabled to flow to the downstream, the water vapor generator is adopted to introduce water vapor into the dewaxing towers with saturated adsorption to take away wax, then the dewaxed natural gas is emptied, and finally part of the dewaxed natural gas is taken as regeneration gas to be introduced into the dewaxing towers to blow and dry the adsorbent so as to achieve regeneration of the adsorbent. The dewaxing method is simple, does not need to use an organic solvent, can effectively remove the paraffin component in the natural gas, greatly improves the dewaxing efficiency, and reduces the dewaxing cost and energy consumption due to the fact that the adsorbent can be recycled after being used.
