Abstract

The method comprises the following steps of firstly, preparing land, deeply ploughing the soil by 25-40cm, and then applying bio-organic fertilizer and compound fertilizer; secondly, selecting excellent plants for root division propagation; performing ridging again, dipping roots with humic acid water-soluble fertilizer, and performing transplanting and planting; then performing field management and weeding, spraying seaweed foliar fertilizer in the squaring stage (the first ten days and the middle ten days of June), topdressing quick-acting fertilizer in the flowering stage (the last ten days of July to the first ten days of August), performing watering thoroughly after application, and the enabling soil water content to be kept at 40%-50%; and finally harvesting roots and rhizomes in September of the third year of planting. The method is simple and easy to operate, can effectively prevent root rot and harm caused by continuous cropping planting, controls the heavy metal and pesticide residues to be lower than the national standard, improves the quality of polygonum cuspidatum, and increases the yield by about 10-20%.
