Abstract

The invention relates to a hybrid energy storage system energy management method for AGC frequency modulation in combination with a thermal power generating unit. A hybrid energy storage system is constructed through a flywheel and a lithium battery for the defects that the thermal power generating unit is weak in AGC instruction response capability and is high in randomness, and a random model prediction control method based on the Markov chain is provided for energy management of the hybrid energy storage system. The method comprises the following steps of 1) modeling future power requirements of the hybrid energy storage system by adopting the Markov chain according to historical data of a thermal power generating unit in response to an AGC instruction, 2) selecting future power requirements of the hybrid energy storage system by generating a scene tree. and 3) adopting random model predictive control to obtain respective compensation power of the flywheel and the lithium battery.
