Hybrid energy off highway vehicle electric power storage system and method

An electrical energy capture system for use in connection with a hybrid energy off highway vehicle system of a off highway vehicle. The hybrid energy off highway vehicle system includes an off highway vehicle, a primary power source, and an off highway vehicle traction motor propelling the off highway vehicle in response to the primary electric power. The off highway vehicle traction motor has a dynamic braking mode of operation generating electrical energy. The electrical energy capture system includes an energy management processor carried on the off highway vehicle. The capture system also includes an off highway vehicle electric generator connected to and driven by the primary power source for selectively supplying primary electric power, wherein the generator is responsive to said processor. An electrical energy storage device is carried on a off highway vehicle and is in electrical communication with the off highway vehicle traction motor. The storage device is responsive to the processor, selectively stores electrical energy generated in the dynamic braking mode, and selectively provides secondary electric power from said stored electricity electrical energy to the off highway vehicle traction motor. The off highway vehicle traction motor is responsive to the secondary electric power. The processor provides a first control signal to the electrical energy storage device to control the selective storing of the electrical energy generated in the dynamic braking mode, and to control the selective providing of secondary electric power to the off highway vehicle traction motor. The processor also provides a second control signal to the generator for controlling the selective supplying of primary electric power to the off highway vehicle traction motor.

The invention provides a control method of a grid friendly type distributed power source based on hybrid energy storage. The method comprises the steps of optimally designing a topology structure of the distributed power source, controlling a direct current power supply system in a coordinating mode through a direct current (DC)/DC converter controlling a model normalization model, and self-adaptively controlling a grid of an alternating current (AC) side DC /AC converter. The distributed power source not only can be connected in a large grid to operate so as to reduce the influence of intermittent renewable energy power generation grid connection on the grid and provide support of voltage and frequency for the grid, but also can be connected into a micro-grid to operate as a network unit of the off-network type micro-grid to maintain stability of voltage and frequency of the off-network type micro-grid. When an outer grid breaks down, the distributed power source can realize switch between a grid mode and an island mode so as to improve power supply reliability of important loads in the system. The distributed power source improves technical performance and economic performance of the whole system through matching utilization of an energy type system and a power type energy storage system.

The invention provides a micro-grid new energy hybrid energy storage system which comprises a new energy power generation subsystem, an energy storage carrier subsystem, a converter subsystem, a high/low-voltage power distribution subsystem and a background monitor subsystem. According to the invention, battery equalization is performed through a BMS (battery management system), a cask effect caused by non-uniformity of voltage, capacity and other parameters is avoided, and the phenomena that the capacity of the whole group is reduced and the service life of the battery is shortened due to vicious circle of performance of the battery pack are avoided. Meanwhile, a refrigeration mode of air-conditioning equipment is scientifically controlled through a heat management system, so that the battery keeps a proper, uniform and stable environment temperature in the operating process. Therefore, the service life of the storage battery is prolonged, and the operating cost is effectively reduced. A container modular energy storage scheme is adopted, the system can be designed into a miniature temporary power generation system, and the construction investment is low. The system is convenient to use and can be transported into bad condition environments such as fields for performing power generation and supply under emergency circumstances. The system can be constructed into a large energy storage power station in a centralized mode, and the capacity is conveniently expanded.

LLC resonance type three-port DC-DC converter and control method thereof

The invention discloses an LLC resonance type three-port DC-DC converter and a control method thereof. The converter is composed of a primary side circuit, a secondary side circuit, a transformer and LLC resonant network. The primary side circuit is composed of a full-bridge unit integrating two paths of two-way buck-boost circuits connected in parallel in a staggered mode. The secondary side circuit is composed of a rectifier circuit. The transformer and LLC resonant network is composed of a high-frequency transformer, a resonant inductor Lr, an excitation inductor Lm and a resonant capacitor Cr. By adjusting the duty ratios and frequencies of power switch tubes of the primary side circuit, two-way energy transmission and output one-way energy transmission between two ports of the primary side can be effectively controlled at the same time. According to the converter and the method, a non-isolation type two-way buck-boost converter is integrated with an isolation type full-bridge LLC resonant converter, so that multiplexing of the primary side switch tubes is achieved, the number of the switch tubes is reduced, cost is reduced, and power density and reliability are improved. The converter is suitable for renewable energy source power generation, hybrid electric vehicles, fuel cell vehicles, hybrid energy storage systems and other systems.

Optimized scheduling method for wind-solar storage hybrid system

The invention discloses an optimized scheduling method for a wind-solar storage hybrid system. A wind-solar output power reference value is set and day-ahead prediction output curves and load prediction curves of wind power and photovoltaic energy are obtained; a wind-solar storage energy output curve as well as an operation mode of an energy storage device are determined; a multi-objective optimization scheduling model is established by taking intra-day operation cost minimization of system scheduling as an optimization objective; and then an input load prediction curve, a wind-solar storageenergy output curve and the operation mode of the energy storage device are inputted, and the optimization scheduling model is calculated by using an improved particle swarm optimization algorithm toobtain a day-ahead set combination output curve. According to the invention, with utilization of the complementary characteristic and frequency modulation capability of the wind-solar energy, the frequency regulation pressures of the energy storage device and the conventional energy set are reduced; and with consideration of the frequency safety constraint, the optimal operation mode of the wind-solar storage hybrid energy system is determined, so that the economic and security of the operation of the hybrid energy system are improved.

In the operating process of the photovoltaic power station, voltage of a direct current bus of the photovoltaic power station and voltages of a super capacitor group and a lithium battery group which are connected with the direct current bus respectively through two bidirectional direct current/direct current (DC/DC) controllers are detected in real time, active power output of a photovoltaic power supply is detected in real time, and meanwhile power output values of the super capacitor group and the lithium battery group for fulfilling an electric energy quality adjustment and control aim of the photovoltaic power station or finishing a scheduling task are quickly calculated; and running states of the two bidirectional DC/DC controllers are controlled according to a calculation result, and thus a charging process and a discharging process of the super capacitor group and the lithium battery group can be controlled. By the method, the advantage of high energy density of a lithium battery and the advantages of long circulation service life and high power density of a super capacitor are given a full play, the problems of low electric energy quality and difficulty in participation in power grid scheduling which are caused by grid-connected running of the photovoltaic power station can be solved; and popularization and application of the photovoltaic power station are facilitated.
