The invention relates to an oil-gas linkage switching device and a working mode thereof. The oil-gas linkage switching device comprises a valve, a valve rod, a microswitch and a handle, a fuel oil channel and a fuel gas channel are transversely arranged on the valve, a valve rod mounting channel is longitudinally arranged on the valve and transversely penetrates the fuel oil channel and the fuel gas channel, a base plate is connected onto the outer wall of the valve, the valve rod penetrates the valve rod mounting channel, a fuel oil valve hole and a fuel gas valve hole are formed in the valve rod, a control end of the valve rod extends out of the valve, the microswitch is mounted on the base plate, a handle hinge base is arranged on the base plate, the handle is hinged onto the handle hinge base, the middle of the handle is linked with the control end of the valve rod, and the handle is turned and can press or loosen a warping plate on the microswitch. When the valve holes are communicated with the fuel oil channel, the microswitch is powered on. When the valve holes are communicated with the fuel gas channel, the microswitch is powered off. The oil using state and the gas using state of a carburetor can be instantly switched by turning the handle, and the oil-gas linkage switching device is simple and convenient to operate.
