Abstract

The invention discloses application of mucoprotein MUC1 to preparation of a drug with a lung aging delaying effect. The drug with the lung aging delaying effect refers to a drug for promoting expression of mucoprotein MUC1 and enhancing MUC1 functions, and the lung aging delaying effect includes lung function decline inhibition and lung structure reconstruction. The invention further discloses a drug for delaying lung aging, and the active ingredient of the drug is the mucoprotein MUC1. The invention discovers a new function of a mucoprotein MUC1 gene, namely that the mucoprotein MUC1 gene hasthe function of inhibiting the lung aging process; and based on the effect of the mucoprotein MUC1 in inhibiting lung aging, the mucoprotein MUC1 can be used for preparing the drug for relieving or delaying the lung aging.
