This invention provides a method for preparing
Astragalus colloidal phase, comprising the following steps: Preparing
Astragalus decoction:
Astragalus slices are extracted by
reflux with water, filtered, and concentrated to obtain a standard Astragalus decoction; Phase separation: The standard Astragalus decoction is subjected to
differential centrifugation and
dialysis to obtain multiple physical phases, including a precipitate phase, a suspension phase, and a colloidal phase; Screening of active phases: The
efficacy of each phase is evaluated using a renal
edema model, and the phase with significant
diuretic and anti-
edema activity is selected as the Astragalus colloidal phase. The prepared Astragalus colloidal phase is a brownish-yellow transparent
system with a particle size of 88.928 ± 0.683 nm and a PDI of 0.3516 ± 0.0162; the
microstructure consists of spherical aggregates with a
particle size distribution range of 30-200 nm; the yield is 23%. The colloidal phase of Astragalus membranaceus of this invention has nephroprotective and
diuretic effects, and can be used in the preparation of drugs for treating renal
edema. It provides a new and highly effective
drug option for the treatment of related clinical diseases and the development of a new generation of innovative
traditional Chinese medicine drugs for treating renal edema.
