Abstract

Provided are a fan assembly and an air conditioner comprising same, which can discharge air as far as possible by additionally providing, between a diagonal flow fan and a discharge grill, a dischargevane for controlling the direction of air sent from the diagonal flow fan. To that end, the fan assembly according to the present invention comprises: a fan housing unit having an air suction openingformed on the rear surface of the unit and an air discharge opening formed on the front surface of the unit; a diagonal flow fan rotatably arranged inside the fan housing unit; a fan motor for rotating the diagonal flow fan; a discharge vane arranged in front of the diagonal flow fan, for controlling the direction of air sent from the diagonal flow fan; and a discharge grill arranged in front ofthe discharge vane, for controlling the direction of the air that passed through the discharge vane, wherein the discharge vane may comprise an annular inner rim having the fan motor coupled to the inside thereof, an annular outer rim which is arranged behind the inner rim, has a center arranged on the same axis as the center of the inner rim, and has a greater diameter than the inner rim, and a plurality of vane ribs which are arranged between the inner rim and the outer rim so as to connect the inner rim and the outer rim, and are radially arranged to be spaced apart from each other along the circumferential direction.
