This invention discloses a
welding method for
titanium alloy annular radiators, a flexible protective cover for the
weld seam, and its manufacturing method. The manufacturing method includes: creating a mold on the surface of the
titanium alloy annular radiator using modeling clay; applying lubricating oil to the surface of the
titanium alloy annular radiator; preparing a high-temperature resistant, tensile- and tear-resistant molding
silicone and a curing agent; placing the mold horizontally, pouring in the molding
silicone and curing agent to solidify the model; removing and obtaining the flexible protective cover for the
weld seam made of
silicone material, and cleaning the protruding edges with scissors; placing the flexible protective cover for the
weld seam at the
welding joint and pressing it tightly; filling the corrugated plate and the inner cavity of the gas collecting hood with
argon gas and performing
argon arc welding; during the
welding process, the
welding torch is moved while the flexible protective cover for the weld seam is flipped upwards. This invention solves the problems of residual
adhesive and low efficiency when using a large amount of
adhesive tape to seal and protect the W-shaped weld seam on
titanium alloy annular radiators. It provides good sealing effect, is easy to operate, does not affect the quality of the
titanium alloy annular radiator, and improves welding efficiency.
