Abstract

A model box is divided into a soil box and a water tank through a transverse partition plate; a movable transverse foundation pit retaining wall is arranged in the soil box; the foundation pit retaining wall is connected with the front box wall and the rear boxwall of the soil box through telescopic water stop films and defines a foundation pit model with the outer side edge of the soil box; a dewatering well pipe is arranged in the foundation pit model; 2-4 observation well pipes are arranged in the soil box; a plurality of displacement sensors and water and soil pressure sensors are arranged in the soil box; and water in the water tank flows into thesoil box through the transverse partition plate. The method mainly comprises the steps of determining a simulation scheme and the position and size of a model, filling soil and installing equipment,setting an initial water level, simulating dewatering in a foundation pit, collecting and recording data, ending a test and recovering the water level.
