The embodiment of the invention provides a bridge detection system.The system comprises a wall-climbing robot which is used for climbing on the surface of a bridge; an internal detection device whichis installed on the wall-climbing robot and used for detecting the interior of the bridge at the detection position; a highway-railway dual-purpose vehicle which is used for advancing on a highway anda railway; and a management platform which is mounted on the highway-railway dual-purpose vehicle. The management platform comprises an internal detection management unit, and the internal detectionmanagement unit is used for controlling the wall-climbing robot to climb and controlling the internal detection device to perform detection. According to the embodiment of the invention, the technicalproblems of relatively high labor cost and relatively high safety risk of a traditional bridge detection mode are solved.
