The air compressor comprises an evaporator, a rear-end heat exchanger, a turbo expander, a condenser, a liquid working medium pump, a pre-heat exchanger, a preceding-stage air compressor and a two-stage air compressor. According to the air compressor, heat of hot air generated by one-stage compression of the air compressor is recycled through ORC circulation; driving power generated in the ORC circulation drives the turbo expander-compressor to compress primarily cooled air after one-stage compression, and therefore the purpose of pressurization is achieved; the air after pressurization exchanges heat with an organic working medium of the ORC circulation twice so as to achieve the purpose of cooling; and the whole air compressor is ingenious in structure, air compression waste heat is fully utilized, and energy conservation and environmental protection are achieved.
