The key to realizing ultra-high-pressure jet flow rock breaking technology is to manufacture a boosting device for generating an ultra-high-pressure water jet flow. For most boosting devices, a large piston is pushed by utilizing water pressure as power to push a small piston so as to boost a small part of drilling fluid. The devices have two technological difficulties: (1) the passageway of a booster is more complicated, so that the machining and mounting are very inconvenient; (2) the reversing device of the booster is short in service life and poor in sealing property, so that the service life of the whole booster is short. According to a novel booster disclosed by the invention, a screw pump is used as a power source, the rotating motion of the screw pump is converted into the reciprocating motion of a plunger through a converting component, so as to realize boosting on part of the downhole drilling fluid. The booster has the advantages of simple structure and convenient machining process, and the common problems of the conventional downhole booster that the reversing valve is poor in sealing property and short in service life are avoided.
