This application relates to the technical field of
machine tool electric spindles, and discloses a milling
machine tool electric spindle, a fault detection
system, and a method. The milling
machine tool electric spindle includes a
stator, inside which a rotor is housed. Cooling chambers are provided at both ends of the
stator, and flywheels are installed at both ends of the rotor, located inside the cooling chambers. The cooling chambers are connected by a connecting
pipe, on which a circulation pump is installed. The rotor includes a central shaft and an armature winding mounted on the central shaft. A central
coolant channel is provided within the central shaft, and
coolant inlet and outlet channels are provided on the flywheels, communicating with the central
coolant channel. A coolant
branch channel is provided within the armature winding, communicating with the central
coolant channel. A partition is provided in the middle of the central
coolant channel. A speed sensor and a temperature sensor are installed inside the cooling chambers, and a
vibration sensor is installed on the
stator. This application has the effect of monitoring the working status of the electric spindle and preventing spindle damage.
