A moving table II is additionally arranged in an existing press machine two-station heel end profiling production line, and an original moving table I is still used for steel rail heel end daily production; and the newly-added moving table II is used for steel rail upsetting operation, and steel rail heel end profiling and upsetting machining production of one two-station press machine is achieved. According to the method, by means of the manner that the moving table is additionally arranged in the existing 5000-ton press machine two-station heel end profiling production line, steel rail heel end production is still conducted through the original moving table, and the newly-arranged moving table is used for upsetting operation; and the structure is reasonable, simple and practical, universality is high, mounting and maintenance are convenient, and the method is suitable for a steel rail turnout precision forging process production line and capable of being widely applied to the field of steel rail piece heel end forging.
