Abstract

The invention discloses a patch-type piezoelectric-driven double-blade underwater vector propulsion system and a method thereof. The system comprises a piezoelectric drive unit, two propellers and two rudders, and the piezoelectric drive unit comprises a metal base and eight electric ceramic sheet; the propeller includes a fixed shaft, rotating cylinder, n blades, preload bolts, springs and n actuating rods; the rudder includes a steering plate, two splints, four fixing bolts and two extension springs. The combination of forward and reverse propeller rotors adopted in the present invention rotates simultaneously so as to balance the deflection moment. The two rudders are preloaded via tension springs and piezoelectric drive units. When working, by applying different signals to the eight piezoelectric ceramic sheets, friction is generated to make itself move forward, backward or turn, and realize vector propulsion. The invention has a simple structure, no sealing device and complex transmission structure, and is directly driven by piezoelectric drive technology, which is easy to realize miniaturization and light weight.
