Problems solved by technology

[0004] At present, the diagnosis of forearm deformity is mainly achieved by manual observation by doctors. Ulna and radius deformities usually include ulna / radius angular deformity and rotational deformity. The diagnosis is generally made by Mimics commercial software, and the doctor marks the bone axis and key point landmarks. Realized, the diagnosis has not been automated, and there are greater difficulties for doctors with less experience

Abstract

The invention relates to a forearm bone recognition method and system, and the method comprises the steps: carrying out the threshold division and two-dimensional connected domain calculation of each to-be-detected CT image, and obtaining a plurality of to-be-detected connected domains; determining a connected domain of a preset layer according to the attribute parameter of the connected domain to be detected and the predicted skeleton shape parameter; performing connected domain matching on the binary image of the far-end layer with the preset number of layers by adopting a layer-by-layer search mode to obtain a first matched connected domain; identifying the ulna and the radius according to the connected domain disappearance condition when the binary image of the far-end layer with the preset number of layers is subjected to connected domain matching; performing connected domain matching on the binary image of the near-end layer with the preset number of layers to obtain a second matched connected domain; and obtaining the complete forearm bone region from matched the connected domain. According to the invention, on the basis of the two-dimensional connected domain algorithm, the adjacent-layer bone connected domain tracking and matching method and medical priori knowledge, the area where the ulna and the radius of the forearm are located can be automatically and rapidly obtained in the CT image, and therefore the automation degree of forearm bone recognition is improved.

Description

technical field [0001] The invention relates to the technical field of medical image recognition, in particular to a forearm bone recognition method and system. Background technique [0002] Congenital forearm deformity refers to various deformities that occur in the upper limbs, and the incidence rate is about 1 / 600. Its manifestations are diverse and include radial dysplasia, macrolimbs, congenital radial and ulnar deformities, angulated and rotational deformities of the radial and ulna. [0003] Among them, Congenital footradius bone fusion (Congenital footradius bone fusion, CRS) is a relatively rare congenital bone developmental deformity of the upper limbs, which is mainly manifested in the presence of congenital bony or cartilaginous connections at the proximal end of the ulna and radius. The congenital fusion of the radius and ulna will lead to the loss of the active and passive rotation function of the forearm, resulting in the supination dysfunction of the patient...
