Abstract

The invention discloses a high-precision broadband quadrature demodulator, which belongs to the field of integrated circuit signal processing, comprises a frequency-halving module, a frequency mixer module, an emitter follower module and a reference module, and can demodulate signals with the input bandwidth of 30MHz-2GHz. The two-frequency-halving module performs two-frequency-halving output on the local oscillator input signal. The frequency mixer module performs frequency mixing output on the output signal and a radio frequency input signal of the frequency-halving module. The emitter follower module performs level shift on the output signal of the frequency mixer module and outputs the output signal after increasing the driving capability, and the output signal is four paths of pairwise orthogonal signals. The reference module provides reference current for the three modules. The high-precision broadband quadrature demodulator is suitable for the design of the high-performance quadrature demodulator with the radio frequency input frequency of 30 MHz to 2 GHz, and compromise among broadband, high precision, low power consumption and low chip area performance can be achieved based on an existing mature SiGe process platform.
