Abstract

A drying system (100) for agricultural products (5) is disclosed, the drying system comprising a heat emission source (3) placed over a 5-persistent moving grain plate of uniform thickness and PEG consistency, such that the transferred heat on the agricultural products (5) at any specified point of passage is uniform. The system (100) comprises a conveyor belt (9) having transfer channels (10), each transfer channel (10) being adapted to convey agricultural products. A heat emitting source (3) is placed above each transfer channel (10) of the conveyor belt (9), and a heat dissipating source (3) is adapted to radiate heat towards the agricultural product (10). A heat emission source (3) is strategically placed at a uniform height above the flow plate of the agricultural product (5), the thickness of which is controlled to achieve a preset product-to-emitter gap (PEG), and which is charged in a controlled manner to emit radiation of a predetermined intensity or a predetermined temperature setting to be delivered onto the agricultural product (5).
